Three games, first tip at 7:30 PM ET, and the model had to do a fair amount of re-routing before it could hand you a clean read. Here's the card: IND hosts POR, DAL welcomes WSH, and ATL travels to SEA. On the surface, a normal Friday. Underneath it, an injury report that reshuffled minutes across two of the three games in ways that matter quite a bit if you're building lineups tonight.
The Indiana–Portland matchup is the gravitational center of the slate — Caitlin Clark at the top of the salary tower, a Portland rotation that has been thinned out by injuries, and enough minutes floating around on the Portland side to create genuine value. The Dallas–Washington game is the quiet one that might sneak up on you; Paige Bueckers and Jessica Shepard are both projecting well, and Washington doesn't scare anybody defensively. And then Atlanta at Seattle is the chaos game — Atlanta is banged up in a real way, which is bad news for their fantasy managers and good news for the players who are absorbing those minutes. The model spread 66 players across the three games; the injury edge is the reason to read carefully before you lock.
