“The biggest weather issue in Augusta for The Masters isn’t any one day of wind or rain... it’s the cumulative effect of months worth of drought. The lack of recent rain can cause a very firm course, which makes putting and approach shots even more difficult than they already are.”
A bit breezy all day, we’ll see roughly 10mph sustained winds for most of the day, maybe slightly below that by the very late afternoon. Winds may gust 15-20mph at times, especially in the early morning, but overall I would consider conditions here to be manageable.
Winds are light all day. I’d expect roughly a 5mph wind throughout the day.
Somehow the winds look even lighter on Saturday than on Friday. I expect near calm conditions throughout the day, sustained winds likely to hold under 5mph.
Winds get back to a more typical pattern, a bit lighter in the morning, climbing to around 10mph in the afternoon. Still very manageable conditions.
